As I share you with others I am taken back to the wonderful weeks I shared with you. I remember you so vividly. The wonderful sounds you made and the alertness in your eyes. I loved to just sit with you and hold you and look into your beautiful eyes. I know how lucky I am to have had that time with you, some mommy's don't even get that. I know what I'm missing, though... I'll never see you sit up, or walk, or go to school... there will be no scraped knees to bandage or owies to kiss... no high school graduation and no wedding... none of these will happen for you... and that makes me sad. I watch as your brothers and sisters grow and I know what I'm missing... I'm missing you.
